Pecan Creek Volunteer Fire Department (PCVFD) was founded by Larry Cotton in 2016 and became an official volunteer fire department in December 2019 after Mr. Cotton recognized a need for a closer fire department than what previously served our community of nearly 800 families/homes. PCVFD has one station, two engines, one brush truck, one tanker which is located at 80 NW Deyo Mission Boulevard, Lawton, Oklahoma. Currently, there are 14 members on the roster and 6 board members. PCVFD is a title 18 dept., 501c(3), non-profit organization, therefore, currently does not receive any funding from any city and as of November 2021 began receiving a portion of county funds. PCVFD relies primarily on annual subscription fees to cover operating expenses. PCVFD also receives donations from many in our coverage area, fundraising activities, along with donations from local businesses.
